Well, I think the main purpose of Mint should be controlling of a website in anyway.
The intention of the RSS Aggregator Pepper was not to display the newest entries of a weblog (although the screenshot shows blog entries). I developed it for controlling new comments on my blog, monitoring the server status and checking new backlinks in the MSN search engine.

Great idea, and very useful!

This also brings up the idea of using the Mint engine for non-statistical purposes. I'm working on a simple Pepper to show a static text message. What about a lightweight blog engine? Or a slideshow Pepper that shows photos? You could have an installation of Mint that doesn't have any of the standard stats Peppers at all.

[...] Alexp from the Mint Forums has posted about his new pepper, RSS Aggregator. It enables you to read in multiple rss feeds to control them in your mint admin area.
