Senior Symfony Developer (f/m/d)

We are a software development company / internet agency in Düsseldorf, Germany. We create online shops and complex websites for our customers. We are looking for support for our backend team.

Your future customers and projects are diverse and strive for high-quality and individual solutions: You develop, maintain and expand middleware and APIs based on Symfony 4+ and API Platform and turn the individual requirements and visions of our customers into reality.

Your solution-oriented mindset helps you find pragmatic solutions to complex problems and you prefer fail-safe automation to error-prone manual processes.

You want to try something new, would prefer Docker to Vagrant or other PHP-frameworks like Laravel? We love experimentation, are open to new technologies and we welcome your new ideas.

As an ideal candidate you have…

• At least three years of work experience
• Very good knowledge of PHP7+
• Very good knowledge of Symfony 4+
• Very good analytical skills
• A sense of responsible and an  independent way of working
• An object-oriented and well-documented programming style
• Database knowledge in MySQL/MariaDB and optionally in MongoDB
• Basic frontend skills (JavaScript, HTML & CSS)
• Experience in the daily use of version control systems (Git)
• Experience in using exchange formats such as JSON/XML/SOAP
• Experience in dealing with other Symfony-based applications
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Good communication skills
